Job Fair: 21.02.2019

Job Fair 2019 was conducted in a mega level in our campus, Sacred Heart College with the association of Vazhikaatti team from Chennai. The day began at 9.30 a.m. with the inaugural ceremony which was honoured by Rev.Dr.Xavier Pakkam, INM Province Economer and Rev.Dr.C.Antonyraj, Rector and Secretary of our college. Fr.Rector gave the welcome speech and Fr.Economer declared the Job Fair-2019 open with his short and meaningful message.

Rev.Fr.J.Andrews Raja, the Director of Vazhikaatti, clearly explained the proceedings to all the registered students for the job fair. Everything was made ready for the recruiters in the BISW campus. We thank the Heads of the Departments of MSW and M.Sc. Counselling Psychology for providing the place to conduct the programme.

660 boys and girls from both Shift-I & II registered for the job fair. Most of the students turned out to attend this campus interview. There were also around 50 spot registrations. All the students were well prepared and motivated well in advance by the Job Placement Centre of our college. The students were very much enthusiastic and presented themselves on time for the programme.

22 companies participated in the job fair. It was a wonderful experience for all the students to participate in this job fair. Most of the recruiters stayed till 4.00 p.m. and met all the students who are enthusiastically waiting to meet them.

On the whole it was a great endeavour for our students and most of our students were already placed and many were invited to next level of interview. The placement centre of our college under the head of Fr.Rector, along with Fr.Selvaraj Varaprasadham, the in-charge and the manager, Mr.T.Joseph Vinoth Kumar had done great job for the success of the day`s event.
