Event Details
On the 26 of January 2020, while India celebrated it`s 71st republic Day to honour the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on 26 January 1950, Sacred Heart College with all pomp and glory exhibited their passion and zeal for the nation. The NCC cadets of Sacred Heart College, performed the guard of honour and march-past. Rev.Dr.D.Maria Antony Raj, the Principal, welcomed and wished everyone a happy republic day. He recalled the tireless efforts of our leaders who toiled for the betterment of the nation. The NCC Cadets both the boys and girls exhibited their skill in tent making and dismantling within a stipulated time limit. It was followed by the Chief Guest Address, Dr.S.Paul Raj, Head, Department of Social Work. He said that India is making rapid progress in all dimensions and students should contribute to the growth and welfare of the nation. The celebrations concluded with the Vote of Thanks and National Anthem.
