A Certificate programme on Transactional Analysis was conducted for the Students of Social Work from North East Institute of Social Science and Research, Nagaland, on 30th & 31st January 2020. PG. & Research Department of Social Work organized this certificate programme under the MoU signed with NEISSR. Dr. S. Paul Raj, the Head, Department of Social Work welcomed the students of NEISSR and oriented them about the purpose of MoU between the institutions and highlighted the importance of Transactional Analysis for the personal, professional and family life.

Dr. K. Arockiaraj coordinated the programme and Dr. CR. Christi Anandan, Dr. Clayton Michael Fonceca and Mrs. E. Lisa handled sessions on Ego states, time structuring, stamp collection, life positions, psychological games and script writing. The sessions consisted ofsimulation activities and roles plays. 12 students and one faculty from the institute participated in the programme.

Dr. Amith, Assistant Professor of the Department of Social Work, NEISSR handled a three hour session for the I MSW students of Sacred Heart College on Health and Role of Medical Social Worker. The session was very interactive and students had a lot to clarify and enhance their knowledge.
