The Counselling Centre, Sacred Heart College in collaboration with St. Josephs Boys Home, Bargur conducted a one day Art Therapy session for 50 Adolescent boys and girls on 23/10/2021. Ms. Latha Munuswamy, Student Counsellor was the resource person and she was assisted by the PG Counselling Psychology Students Ms. Durga, Ms. Sara and Master. Tirupathy. Rev. Fr. Mani Laser SDB, Counsellor Chennai, was responsible for conducting the Camp. The main focus of the art therapy session was to assess the personality and mental health status of these young children. Lot of activities were conducted to heal negative emotions of the young participants. Counselling was given to the children who needed help with their issues. Participants were given workbooks to continue the art therapy activities at home. During the feedback session participants expressed about their healing experience and wanted more such programs in future.
