The Department of Computer Application (Shift II) organized a Seminar titled Recent Trends in Information Technology on 14^th March, 2022.  The objective of the seminar is to share the recent trends in information technology among the second and final year students. The welcome address was delivered by Master N. Foram (III BCA). Dr. A. Mekala, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Application introduced the resource person. Dr. V. Uma Shankar, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Application, Loyola College, Vettavalam, Villupuram District was the resource person.  Mr. A. John Martin, Head, Department of Computer Application honoured the resource person. The resource person elaborated the following trends: Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, Data Mining and Data Warehousing. The students clarified their doubts with the resource person during the question and answer session. The vote of thanks was proposed by Miss A. Jenifer (III BCA).
