The P.G & Research Department of Mathematics, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous) organized an Inter-Collegiate Competition “MATH INFINI 2022” on 27^th April, 2022. The competitions were held to focus on the importance of innovative ideas on the Applications of Mathematics. The inaugural session was graced by Rev. Dr. Maria Antony Raj, Principal, Sacred Heart College. In his inaugural address, he insisted the importance of getting chances and making the best use of it. Four off stage events namely: Mathematical Models, Pencil Sketch, Documentary, Math Rangoli were conducted in the morning. The Quiz prelims was conducted in the morning and the best five teams were selected for the on stage program. on stage Quiz was conducted by the PG students. During the valedictory session Rev. Dr. K.A. Maria Arokiaraj, Additional Principal (Shift II), Sacred Heart College highlighted the importance of Mathematics and distributed the prizes to the winners. Don Bosco College, Yelagiri Hills bagged the overall championship. The vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. B. Chandrasekar. The event was coordinated by Dr P. Manoharan, Associate Professor, Department of Mathematics (Shift I) & Dr. B. Chandrasekar, Assistant Professor, Department of Mathematics (Shift II). About 110 students from 9 colleges actively participated in the event.
