Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur participated in The Mass Cleaning Campaign initiated by the Tirupattur Collectorate and Tirupattur Municipality as per the direction of Government of Tamil Nadu for the commemoration of the Birth Anniversary of the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Dr. Kalaignar M. Karunanithi on 3^rd June, 2022.

Around 500 hundred students of Sacred Heart College have marched towards the Lake behind the Tirupattur bus stand to create the awareness among the public on clean environment with the slogan of the day “எனது குப்பை எனது பொறுப்பு”.

The honourable Collector of Tirupattur District Mr. Amar Kushwaha, IAS had swayed the flag and began the campaign at 10.00 am at bank of the Lake. He highlighted the importance of cleanliness of environment and importance of preserving the Lake from garbage in his key note address.

He stepped into the filed along with our students to clean the entire lake. Students and staff members of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous) along with the employees of Tirupattur Municipality have actively participated and cleansed the surroundings of lake. Mrs. Sangeetha Venkatesh, The Chairperson of Tirupattur Municipality and Commissioner of Tirupattur Municipality have participated and graced the occasion.
