The National Workshop on MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular.js, Node.js) – Full Stack Development Framework was conducted by the Department of Computer Applications (UG) on 14^th Sep, 2022. The event aimed to provide a platform for the students to learn the recent technology MEAN. During the inaugural session Mr. A. John Martin, Head, Department of Computer Applications (UG) welcomed the gathering. Rev. Dr. K.A. Maria Arokiaraj SDB, Additional Principal felicitated the audience. He expressed his views on the significance of IT related jobs, expectations of IT industries and insisted students to develop and update their technical skills to meet the expectations of IT industries. Miss. Kaviya introduced the resource person of the workshop Mr. H.S. Sandesh, Founder & CEO, Study Online and Senior Consultant at EY, Bangalore. He demonstrated the expectations of IT industries from IT professionals in the recruitment process. He gave three training sessions on various domains. Rev. Dr. S. Shanmugam SDB, Vice Principal (Administration), Shift – II congratulated and appreciated the gathering for their active participation and shared a meaningful valedictory message. Mrs. C. Dharmadevi, Asst. Professor, Dept of Computer Applications (UG) proposed the vote of thanks. About 207 external and internal participants from 7 colleges attended the workshop.
