Condolence Meeting – Report

On 08^th December 2021 a major tragedy took place at Coonoor a helicopter carrying Chief of Defense Staff Gen. Bipin Rawat and 13 Army officials died due to crash near Wellington in Nilgiri Hills of Tamil Nadu. On 10^th December 2021 the management of Sacred Heart College along with the Staff and Students paid their homage to the departed souls in front of college office at 2:30pm. Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antony Raj. SDB, Principal, Rev. Dr. K. A. Maria Arokia Raj. SDB, Addl. Principal, Dr. S. R. Xavier Rajarathinam, Vice Principal, (Academics), Dr. R. Murali, Staff Secretary, Lt. Dr. K. Sivakumar, NCC – Officer, Mr. S. Gnanaprakasam Office Superintendent, Teaching and Non – Teaching Staff along with the NCC Cadets mourned the tragic demise by observing deep silence for a few minutes holding burning candles in their hands to pay homage to these army personnel.
