Retirees, You made a difference: An embodiment of optimism and hard work.
The Retirement function organized on 08/02/2019, was a flash back of the exemplary performance of the retirees, Dr. A. Periyanayagasamy, Department of Economics, Mr. Jeyaraj, the office Superintendent and Mr. Danapal, Assistant. It was fitting that the college organized a special programme to honour these retirees bidding adieu to their untiring services. Rev. Dr. C. Antonyraj, the Rector, felicitated the retirees with his gracious words of gratitude and thanked them for serving this college. The retirees were honoured by Rev.Dr. Maria Antonyraj, the Principal, which was followed by the various associations, colleagues, faculty, staff and students for rendering a memorable service that is unprecedented. Dr. Xavier Rajarathinam, The Vice Principal Shift I, representing the teaching staff, felicitated the retirees. Mr. G. Govindaraj, Typist, offered his words of appreciation to the retirees. Mr. J. Lokesh Ponnusammy and Mr. M. Joel, student representatives opened their hearts of appreciation through their unsung words of melody that echoed and reverbrated through the audience towards the retirees tireless services on behalf of the student community. Dr. A. Periyanayagasamy, retiree, recollected his journey through his teaching career and marvelled at how this college has shaped his life. Mr. Jeyaraj, the office Superintendent with his usual tone of enthusiasm and excitement, was enthralled at serving this college. Mr. Danapal, thanked the management for choosing him to serve in this college. The moments of parting were coloured with students performance of dance and mimicry. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mr. S. Baskaran, the office Junior Assistant bringing the curtains down on a job well done yet with miles to go in their untrammelled life of potence and prosperity. Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, the Vice Principal was the articulator behind the success of this function, in which Salesians, Deans, Heads of the Departments, Teaching faculty and Non-teaching staff gathered to honour the untiring services of the retirees.
