The Orientation Programme for the faculty members with and below two years of experience (Shift I & II) was conducted between 11^th and 12^th June, 2024 at DMT Hall. On the first day there were three sessions: “Unleashing the Power of Google Products in Education” by Dr. J. Merlin Florence, Assistant Professor, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, “Optimizing Internal and External Examination Systems” at Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur by Rev. Dr. John Borg, COE, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur and “Empowering Excellence Role of Faculty in Assessment and Accreditation for Higher Education Institutes” by Dr. V. Collins Arun Prakash, IQAC Coordinator, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur respectively. On the second day there were three sessions: “Evaluation Methods” by Dr. L. Ravi, Head, Dept. of Computer Science, “Quality Measures in Teaching Learning and Evaluation” by Dr. George Louis Raja, Head, Dept. of Computer Applications (PG) and “Empowering Education: Leveraging LMS with Moodle” by Mr. T. Prabaharan, Assistant Professor, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur respectively.

The Orientation Programme for the faculty members with and below thirteen years of experience was conducted on 13^th June, 2024 at Pope Francis Hall (Shift I) and Mother Teresa Hall (Shift II). There were three parallel sessions: “Drafting of Research Proposal and Patent Filing” by Dr. R. A. Kalaivani, Dean, School of Basic Sciences, Vels Institute of Science and Technology and Advanced Studies, Chennai, “Don Bosco Syatem of Education and Accompaniment” by Rev. Fr. Joe Deva, Rector and Secretary Don Bosco School of Excellence, Tirupattur and “Innovative Approaches and Best Practices for Teaching and Learning” by Dr. D.Raja Jebasingh, Associate Professor and Vice-Principal, St.Joseph’s College of Commerce (SJCC), Bengaluru respectively.

The Orientation Programme for all the faculty members was conducted on 14^th June, 2024 at Pope Francis Hall (Shift I) and Mother Teresa Hall (Shift II). There were two parallel sessions: “Empowering Academia: Leveraging AI Tools for Enhanced Research and Teaching” by Dr. A. Anthoniraj Amalanathan, Director, Software Development Center, VIT, Vellore and “Gender Sensitivity” by Ms. Louis Sharmila, Advocate, Madras High Court and Legal Advisor, Chennai Province respectively.

Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, Rector and Secretary, Rev. Dr. Maria AntonyRaj, Principal, Vice-Principals, COE, IQAC Coordinator, Deans, Heads graced the occasion. The faculty members actively participated in the event. The Faculty Orientation Programme was coordinated by the IQAC, Sacred Heart College. The feedback forms were colleceted. About 200 faculty members attended the event.
