The PG Department of Social Work (HRM) organised the One Day Seminar titled “HR Practises” in collaboration with NHRD, Hosur Chapter. The event aimed to delve HR practises among the HR aspirants. The resource persons were Mr. Sebastian John, Manager, HR-Del Monte  Foods Pvt Ltd. Vice-President, NHRD Hosur Chapter, Mr. Pon Roshan Kumar, Manager, HR Operations, DXC Technology Bengaluru, Ms. Jeeva, HR Partner, ACA POSH and IC Certified Trainer, EC Member, NHRD, Hosur Chapter and Ms. Swapna, Manager, HR POSH Certified Member,  NHRD, Hosur Chapter respectively. The inaugural address was given by Rev.Fr. Praveen Peter, Secretary and Rector. The seminar topics are Introduction of HR Practices, Recruitment and Onboarding, Compensation and Benefits, Sexual Harassment in Workplace and ICC- Internal Complain Committee, Introduction to Labour Code. The valedictory address was given by Rev.Fr. Shanmugam, Vice-Principal (Shift-II) and Assistant Professor, PG Department of Social Work (HRM). Certificates were distributed by Mr. Sebastian John, Mr. Pon Roshan Kumar, Ms. Jeeva, Mrs. Swapna  to BBA, MBA, MSW(Aided) MSW(HRM) Departments.
