The Feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus was celebrated with reverence and joy at the Sacred Heart College on 01^st September, 2024 at Kamarajar Arangam. Rev. Fr. John Christy SDB, Provincial Councilor and Province Youth Ministry Delegate of the Salesian Province of Chennai, was invited to preside over the Holy Eucharist as the main celebrant.  The feast began with a solemn mass and followed by a pompous car procession in honour of Sacred Heart of Jesus, the patron of the college. Rev. Fr. Praveen Peter, the Rector, welcomed the main celebrant and the participants. During the Homily the chief celebrant highlighted on three aspects of Sacred Heart of Jesus, viz., Heart of Compassionate Heart, Humble Heart and Courageous Heart. Rev. Fr. Maria Antonyraj, Principal of the College thanked all those who were instrumental in making the moment as a prayerful and blessings filled one. The feast was well attended by the religious of Tirupattur, alumni, faculty and students of the college, parishioners and students from neighboring Salesian Institutions.  A delicious communal meal was served to all those who took part in the event. Fr. Bharathi Bernadsha, the Campus Minister, coordinated the liturgy of the Holy Eucharist and Car Procession.
