The National Workshop on Flask was held on September 6, 2024, at Kamarajar Arangam, organized by the Department of Computer Applications (UG) at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur. The workshop aimed to introduce participants to web development using Flask. Rev. Dr. S. John Borg SDB, Controller of Examinations, and Rev. Dr. D. Shanmugam SDB, Vince-Principal were the chief guests, Mr. John Peter, Alumnus and Founder of Spartan Trading Academy, Krishnagiri, witnessed the learning experience at the Department of Computer Applications. A total of 635 participants attended the event, including 157 students from other departments, 161 from the parent department, and 281 external participants from 17 different colleges. Mr. A. Dony Franklin, Wizklub Learning Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, covered key topics like Flask installation, templates, and user registration. The afternoon sessions were conducted by Ms. S. Kalaiarasi, Trios Technology Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, focusing on CRUD operations, Flask deployment, and error handling. All the participants were given certificates. Dr. A. John Martin, Head, appreciated Mr. S. John Bosco, the convener, and the faculty members for organizing a successful and impactful event.
