The PG & Research Department of Biochemistry, Sacred Heart College organized an Industrial Visit for the Students of the Department on 20^th September, 2024. The students visited Bioneem Tech India Private Limited, Siruseri, Chennai. Dr. A. Poongothai and Dr. S. Govindarajan accompanied the students. The laboratory was comprised of different sections dedicated to Biochemistry, Herbal Technology, Pharmacology, Clinical Research, Molecular Docking Studies, and Microbiology, each focusing on various aspects of research and development. Each section focused on different aspects of research and development. The industrial visit to the facility proved to be highly enriching and educational for the students, offering valuable insights into real-world laboratory practices, industrial-scale product production, and interdisciplinary training. The students were very impressed with the laboratory visit and learned in detail about the expertise involved in Biochemistry research work. About 44 PG and Diploma Students attended the event.
