SPACE 2K24     

SPACE 2024, an intercollegiate IT fest organized by the Department of Computer Science (Shift-I), was held on 19th September 2024 at Kamarajar Arangam. The event aimed to provide a competitive platform for students to showcase their technical skills and creativity. Participants from multiple colleges competed in various technical events, including Geek Speak, Techno Freak, Connexions, Ad-Zap, Media Mirchi, Animatronics, Clash of Codes, and the flagship event, Star of Space. Over 140 students from colleges across Tirupattur and neighboring districts attended.

The inauguration was led by Mr. Bernard Vinoth Valerian, HR Director at Applied Materials, an alumnus of the institution. Notable events included Techno Freak, an IT quiz, Connexion, Animatronics, Media Mirchi, a photo-editing contest; Geek Speak, a paper presentation; and Clash of Coders, a coding competition. The Star of Space event highlighted the best performer, Ms. Antony Jeni, from Don Bosco College Yelagiri Hills.

The day concluded with a valedictory ceremony, where Mrs. P. Monika from Capgemini was the Guest of Honor. The overall championship trophy was won by the Department of Computer Applications, MKJC College.
