In a vibrant celebration of culture, talent, and creativity, Sacred Heart College unveiled its much-anticipated Cultural Fest, "Heart Beat 2024," on 23^rd November in Kamarajar Arangam. The event was declared open by Rev. Dr. D.  Maria Antonyraj, the Principal.

The inauguration was marked by a series of engaging video clippings introducing the Chief Guests and the Guests of Honour. Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antony Raj, welcomed everyone, setting the tone for the day's festivities.

Dr. K. Parthibaraja, Head of the Department of Tamil, introduced the Chief Guests, Mr. Athma Patrick, South Indian Tamil Film Actor, Super Singer title winner Magilan Paridhi, and Guests of Honour Kalaivalarmani. Mrs. Reni. C. Paul., M.F.A., MSc PhD in Bharathanatyam, Sr. Jenita, Principal, St. Charles ICSE School, Tirupattur.

The diverse array of events for the day included Group Singing, Mime (Girls), Skit (Boys), Group Dance (Girls), and Group Dance (Boys), showcasing the multifaceted talents of the students. Following the spirited performances, the Chief Guests shared their insightful responses.

The much-anticipated prize distribution ceremony was led by Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand, Vice-Principal (Administration). The results for the events were as follows:

Girls:

1st Prize – Department of Psychology

2nd Prize – Department of Commerce

3rd Prize - Department of English

Boys:

1st Prize - Department of Commerce

2nd Prize - Department of Maths

3rd Prize - Department English

The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Mr. V. Madhan Kumar, Assistant Professor of English, expressing gratitude to all participants, judges, and contributors who made "Heart Beats 2024" a resounding success.
