On Monday16.12.2024, students from the PG & Research Department of Social Work celebrated Christmas Sharing Day with Nalvazhvu Maiyam Trust located in Hayath Nagar, Tirupattur. The program was organized by Association leaders with the support of 1^st and 2^nd year student representatives, Prof. Moieeson Thayriyam, along with Mrs. Nalini V (Founder of Nalvazhvu Maiyam). The program began with a prayer song by Fr. Stio and team. The welcome address was given by Mr. Santhosh. The Christmas message was delivered by Prof. Moieeson Thayriyam. The 1st-year girls performed a dance, and gifts were distributed to the women beneficiaries. Mrs. Nalini V also gave a talk about their future plans for Nalvazhvu Maiyam Trust and thanked the department for the support. Cakes were distributed to 70 members participated in the program. A total of Rs. 4700 was spent by the department. The program concluded with vote of thanks by Ms. Sneha from the 1st year. A total of 30 bed sheets were given to the beneficiaries. Twenty students attended the event.
