The Department of Extension Education and Services (DEEDS), Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, organized the Evening Study Centres’ Christmas Celebrations on December 22, 2024, at Carreno Hall at 10:00 a.m. The program began with a heartfelt prayer song performed by Staff from the department of extension education and services, creating a spiritual and festive atmosphere. Ms. Pooja from Bosco Nagar delivered the welcome speech, warmly greeting the participants and setting the tone for the celebration. It was followed by vibrant and energetic dance performances by students from Lakshmi Nagar, Sagaya Nagar, Kalaignar Nagar, and Anna Nagar, which brought joy and cheer to the gathering.

The Christmas Message was delivered by Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter SDB, Rector and Secretary of Sacred Heart College, who shared the significance of Christmas and its values of love, peace, and sharing. Further, the celebrations continued with additional colourful dance performances by students from Gandhi Nagar, Bosco Nagar, Jai Beem Nagar, and Idhaya Nagar, captivating the audience with their enthusiasm. Ms. Swetha from Idhaya Nagar delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the event. The program concluded with the distribution of Christmas gifts to the children by Rev. Dr. Shanmugam, Director of the Department of Extension Education and Services (DEEDS), Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur.
