The Sharing Day was celebrated by the PG and Research Department of Biochemistry on 16.12.2024 at Peace Home Day Care Center for the elderly, Samiyarpattu, Ambur, Tirupattur Dist. The final year UG students along with representatives from other classes, Head, Class Teacher and Association President accompanied with students. The faculty members along with the students reached the venue at 10 am. The program started with prayer song. The faculty members gave the sharing day message to old age people and insisted the meaning of sharing and the importance of Christmas.  Students conducted games and activities like dancing and singing for the old age people which brought joy among them and all actively participated in the events. The recipients expressed gratitude for the kind gesture extended by the Sacred Heart Community. Finally a sharing day packages to all the old age members was distributed. The items contained rice bag, groundnuts, dal, sanitizers, coconut oil and other necessary items. The sharing day at the old age home was a rewarding experience that emphasized the importance of community engagement and the positive impact of simple acts of kindness.
