The PG and Research Department of Mathematics, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur in collaboration with Mathematics Division, Department of Science and Humanities, Jerusalem College of Engineering (Autonomous), Chennai organized a virtual five-days FDP on the topic “Mathematical Foundations of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning” with the support of RETECH Solutions, Chennai from 03.02.2025 to 07.02.2025 between 6.30pm and 8.00pm. Mr.R.Shriram, Senior AI & ML Manager, RETECH Solutions, Chennai was the resource person for this FDP.

The first day of the FDP started with prayer, introductory remarks and genesis of the FDP by Dr.V.Balaji, Associate Professor, PG and Research Department of Mathematics, the welcome address by Dr.A.George Maria Selvam, Associate Professor & Head, PG and Research Department of Mathematics and Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr.S.U.Vasantha Kumar, Assistant Professor, PG and Research Department of Mathematics. The final day of the FDP was closed with concluding remarks by Dr.P.Anuradha, Dean-Academics & Professor, Mathematics Division, Department of Science and Humanities, Jerusalem College of Engineering (Autonomous), Chennai and vote of thanks was proposed by Dr.P.K.Kishore Kumar, Professor and Head, Mathematics Division, Department of Science and Humanities, Jerusalem College of Engineering (Autonomous), Chennai. Around 230 faculty members and research scholars from various institutions across India registered for the FDP and around 170 participants attended the FDP on all five days.
