The Department of Commerce organized an Invited Talk on "Employability Skills" on 2nd February 2025. The resource person for the session was Mr. Dr. A. Pandu, Associate Professor & Head, Department of Commerce, Pondicherry University Community College, Lawspet, who delivered an insightful talk on the importance of life skills in both academic and professional fields.

The session began with an introduction to the meaning of life skills, highlighting how essential they are for personal and professional development. The resource person elaborated on the components of life skills, including communication, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, and emotional intelligence.

Mr. Dr. A. Pandu further explained the scope of life skills, emphasizing their significance in enhancing employability and personal growth. He also pointed out the various opportunities available in both the public and private sectors for individuals equipped with life skills. Additionally, the importance of preparing for the UGC NET Exam was discussed as a pathway to career advancement.
