IVDP-SHC Educational Scholarship Distribution Programme was held on February 27, 2025, at 11:00 AM in Kamarajar Arangam, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur. The event was organized by the IVDP-SHC Educational Scholarship Students’ Core Committee and was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Kulandai Francis, Founder and President of IVDP, Krishnagiri, a Ramon Magsaysay Awardee, as the Chief Guest. The event commenced with a prayer song led by Prof. D. Louis Sahaya Henston & Co. Sridevi S., a student of III B.A. English (Shift-II), delivered the welcome address, warmly greeting the dignitaries, faculty, and students. It was followed by a session on the "Dynamics of the Day," presented by Rev. Dr. K.A. Maria Arokiaraj SDB, Additional Principal, SHC. The programme then proceeded with the felicitation and honoring of the Chief Guest, conducted by Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter SDB, Rector & Secretary, SHC, Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antonyraj SDB, Principal, and Rev.Dr.K.A. Maria Arokiaraj, Additional Principal, SHC.

Following this, Rajesh S. (III B.A. English, Shift-II) introduced the Chief Guest, highlighting his contributions to education and social service. The core team presented a detailed report on the scholarship program, showcasing its impact and reach. In his address, Mr. Kulandai Francis spoke about the importance of education, his journey in empowering students, and how the IVDP-SHC scholarships have been transforming lives. The most awaited segment was the distribution of scholarships, where deserving students received financial assistance, enabling them to continue their education without financial burdens. Additionally, top contributors who played a pivotal role in supporting the initiative were recognized and awarded. This was followed by feedback from beneficiaries, where parents and students expressed their gratitude and shared how the scholarship had positively impacted their academic journey. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, delivered by Surya T. (I B.A. English, Shift-II), expressing gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, faculty, and students for making the event a grand success. Finally, the College Anthem was sung, marking the end of a memorable and impactful occasion. Harshini & Salma served as the Masters of Ceremony, ensuring the seamless flow of the event.
