The PG and Research Department of Commerce (Shift –II) organized a National Seminar on Artificial Intelligence in Commerce on 26^th February, 2025, which witnessed the participation of around 300 students from various institutions. The seminar commenced with a prayer, followed by a welcome address delivered by Ms. S R Poorvisha, II M.Com.

The Rev. Dr. K A Maria Arokiaraj, SDB Additional Principal delivered the inaugural address, setting the tone for an insightful event. Prof. Saravanakumaran K, Assistant Professor introduced the resource person Dr. S Kayalvizhi, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, Muthurangam Government Arts College (Autonomous), Vellore  for Session I, where she spoke on Personalization in Artificial Intelligence, providing lively examples relevant to the present context.

Dr. G Devi, Head of the Department of B.Com. introduced the resource person, Mrs. G P Hemavathi, Assistant Professor, Department of MBA, RNS Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, for Session II, where she discussed Business Automation, explaining how AI facilitates various spheres of business.

A paper presentation session was held, judged by Dr. P Saravanan Head of the Commerce (CA), Certificates and prizes were distributed to participants, especially those who presented papers in the seminar.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. D Santhosh, II M.Com, acknowledging the contributions of everyone involved. Mr. A Jeevan Abishek, II M.Com. served as the Master of Ceremony, ensuring the smooth flow of the program. The seminar ended with the National Anthem, marking the successful completion of the event.
