The Valediction Ceremony for Academic Associations, CQC, Groups & Movements, and the Outreach Programme of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, was held on February 25, 2025, at Kamarajar Arangam at 2:30 PM. The event marked the culmination of various academic and extracurricular activities conducted throughout the year. The function commenced with a prayer song, setting a solemn and reflective tone by Prof. Henston & team. Rev. Dr. K.A. Maria Arockiaraj SDB, Additional Principal, welcomed the gathering and outlined the day’s proceedings. The felicitation and honouring of the Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Gregory Thaddeus SDB, Principal of Don Bosco College, Yelagiri Hills & CEO of Boscosoft, was conducted by Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter SDB, Rector and Secretary of the institution. Rev. Dr. Samson Shanmugam SDB, Director of DEEDS & Outreach Programme, addressed the audience and released the News Letter, highlighting the key achievements of the institution’s outreach efforts.

The event featured presentations of reports from various committees, including the CQC (Co-Curricular Quality Circle), academic associations, outreach programs, and groups & movements. These reports showcased the impactful initiatives undertaken by the students and faculty throughout the academic year. A vibrant dance performance by MNI students added a cultural touch to the event, followed by more report presentations from YSR & IYDP teams. The laying down of insignia and prize distribution was a moment of recognition and appreciation for the contributions of students in various capacities. The Chief Guest, Rev. Fr. Gregory Thaddeus SDB, delivered an inspiring address, emphasizing the importance of holistic education and service-oriented leadership. Another dance performance by Department of B.Com (CA) featuring both boys and girls entertained the audience. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. R.S. Diana Sangeetha from the Department of Chemistry, acknowledging the efforts of organizers, faculty, and students. The event concluded with the College Anthem, leaving the attendees with a sense of accomplishment and motivation. The program was well-coordinated by Mr. Sridharan and Ms. Keerthika, who served as the Masters of Ceremony, ensuring a seamless flow of events.
