The First Year Students' Parents’ Meeting for Shift II was held on 28th June 2025 at 11:00 am in Kamarajar Arangam, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur. The event began with a solemn prayer song led by Mr. Henston and his team from the Department of English, setting a tone for the gathering. Dr. K. Anbalagan, Vice-Principal (Student Affairs), welcomed the parents and students, expressing his heartfelt gratitude for their presence and support. The felicitation address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter SDB, Rector and Secretary of the college, who emphasized the importance of parent-teacher collaboration in shaping the academic and personal growth of the students. This was followed by a session of instructions and interaction led by Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand SDB, Additional Principal, who guided the parents regarding the academic expectations, rules, and support systems available in the college.

A special session was taken by Mr. Francis from the College Office, who explained in detail the various scholarships available for students. He highlighted both Management Scholarships and Government Scholarships, elaborating on eligibility criteria, application procedures, and benefits. This session was highly informative and beneficial for the parents to understand the financial support available for the students. Additionally, Mr. Bosco from the Department of BCA provided a hands-on training session on how parents can access and monitor student attendance through the college portal. This interactive demonstration helped parents become familiar with the digital systems in place for academic monitoring.

Dr. R. Sankar from the Department of Tamil delivered the vote of thanks, appreciating the efforts of the organizing team and the enthusiastic participation of the parents. The programme concluded with the College Anthem, reinforcing a sense of unity and pride among the attendees. Dr. J. Jayachithra from the Department of Tamil served as the Master of Ceremony, ensuring the smooth flow of events throughout the session.
