The Department of Computer Science (Shift–I) and the Department of Computer Applications, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, jointly organized a Two-Day Workshop titled *Professional Skills for the Workplace* on 8th and 9th December 2025 from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. at the Presentation Hall. The sessions were led by the eminent resource person, Dr. Albert P’Rayan, ELT Professional from Chennai, whose vast experience and engaging approach enriched the programme. The first day of the workshop, held on 8th December 2025, focused primarily on interaction and confidence building. Students were paired in groups of two and encouraged to interact with their partners, understand their personalities, and introduce their partners to the entire group. This activity significantly helped students improve their communication skills, overcome stage fear, and build meaningful interpersonal connections. Dr. Albert P’Rayan guided the students on observing details, speaking with clarity, maintaining eye contact, and using positive body language. The second day of the workshop, conducted on 9th December 2025, emphasized creative expression through story narration activities. Dr. Albert P’Rayan’s continuous encouragement and supportive approach created a comfortable and inclusive learning environment, enabling students to express their ideas freely and confidently without hesitation. The workshop witnessed active and enthusiastic participation from the final-year B.Sc. Computer Science students, with a total of 51 students attending the programme.
