Admin Fest 2025

The Department of Business Administration, Sacred Heart College, successfully organized Admin Fest 2025 from 29th November to 4th December 2025 at Carreno Hall. The fest featured 15 intra-departmental events that highlighted students’ managerial, leadership, and innovative skills. The valedictory session on 4th December began with a welcome address by Ms. Sandhiya (II BBA), followed by an insightful address by Prof. R. Veerappan on the purpose and legacy of Adminfest. Dr. A. Sudervizhi delivered the valedictory address, motivating students to enhance their competencies. The programme concluded with prize distribution by Dr. A. Selvaraj and a vote of thanks by Ms. Afreen Taj.

 

MOU between Institutions

The Department of Business Administration, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), and the Department of Commerce, DKM College for Women (Autonomous), formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 04.12.2025 in Sacred Heart College Campus. During the programme, Prof. R. Veerappan presented a brief overview of the MOU, highlighting its purpose and significance.

Faculty Exchange Programme

 

Under the Faculty Exchange Program in collaboration with D.K.M. College for Women (Autonomous), Dr. T. Bharathi delivered an insightful session on 04.12.2025 at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Bharathi’s lecture on “Smart Governance 2.0: Redefining City Management through Innovation” emphasized continuous learning, leadership development, and technological adaptation. She highlighted the importance of communication skills, ethical decision-making, and a growth mindset for future managers. The interactive session enriched students’ academic and professional perspectives.

 

Students Exchange Programm

 

 

On 4th December 2025, a Student Exchange Programme under the MoU was organized in collaboration with DKM College for Women (Autonomous), Vellore. The programme began with a warm welcome to the DKM students by Dr. C. Sheeba, setting a positive tone for academic interaction. Prof. R. Veerappan explained the objectives and significance of the Memorandum of Understanding, emphasizing academic collaboration and holistic student development. A campus tour guided by Prof. R. Bowya Devi familiarized students with the academic blocks, laboratories, library, administrative sections, and student support facilities. Prior coordination with the librarian ensured a smooth visit, and students appreciated the campus infrastructure. Post-lunch, an Inbound Training session was conducted exclusively for girls from SHC and DKM. Led by Prof. R. Veerappan, the team-building programme focused on personality development, communication skills, leadership qualities, emotional intelligence, and professional behaviour. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. A. Selvaraj, highlighting teamwork and continuous learning.

Grandparents Day

The Department of Business Administration organized Grandparents Day on 06.12.2025 with great enthusiasm. Students were encouraged to take photographs along with their grandparents, creating memorable moments and celebrating the bond between generations. The event highlighted the values of love, respect, and gratitude toward elders. Students actively participated and thoroughly enjoyed the programme, making it a joyful and meaningful experience for everyone involved.

 

International Anti-Corruption Day Essay Competition -2025

The Department of Business Administration, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, organized an Essay Writing Competition on 09.12.2025 in observance of International Anti-Corruption Day. The event aimed to create awareness about the ill effects of corruption and promote integrity and ethical values. Students participated enthusiastically, expressing their views in English or Tamil within the allotted time. The competition encouraged critical thinking and reinforced the importance of honesty, transparency, and responsible citizenship among students.
