WORKSHOP ON REACT NATIVE – 13/11/2021

REPORT

National workshop on React Native was organized by the Department of Computer Applications (UG) on 13^th November, 2021 through online mode at 10.00 am. 352 Students and faculty members were registered and took part in the workshop. Rev. Dr. K. A. Maria Arockiaraj, Additional Principal, inaugurated the workshop. Mr. C. Edward Sagayaraj, Associate Technical Delivery Manager, Accolite Digital Pvt. Ltd, Chennai has been a resource person. React Native is a JavaScript framework for building native mobile apps. It uses the React framework and offers large amount of inbuilt components and APIs. The students from various colleges took part and benefitted out of this recent technology. The workshop was telecasted through YouTube to benefit different stack holders. Real time problems from engineering college students were resolved by the resource person. Current openings on React Native was elaborated by the resource person. 352 students from 15 different colleges benefitted out of this workshop.  Dr. J. Merlin Florrence has been a convener for this workshop. Mr. A. John Martin, Head department of Computer Applications arranged for the workshop and supported throughout the session. The workshop was come to end at 4.00 pm
