The first-year undergraduate students were welcomed to the college with the inauguration of Bridging Course Induction Classes organized by the Department of English from 05/06/2023 to 09/06/2023. The inauguration began on 05/06/2023 at 9 a.m in the Kamarajar Arangam with an invocation song. Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antony Raj, the Principal, welcomed the students and introduced them to the Mission, Vision and the Core Values of Sacred Heart College. Further, the students were instructed to abide by the college norms. Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, the Rector and Secretary of the college, instructed the students to be disciplined, to respect their parents, teachers and to focus on studies.

Rev. Dr. K. A. Maria Arockiaraj, the Additional Principal, Shift – II, explained the Bridging Course Induction Classes and elaborated on the need for learning English. Dr. B. Sreenivasan, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, described features of IGNOU Certification.  The inauguration concluded with the Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Savitha, Additional Vice- Principal, Academics, Shift – II. Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand, Vice-Principal (Admin) Shift I, coordinated the event.
