The Inauguration of Academic Associations, Groups and Movements, and Outreach Programme were held on the 14^th July, 2023 at 03.30 p.m. in the Kamarajar Arangam. The programme commenced with the prayer service and the investiture of the office bearers led by Rev. Dr. Gandhi Kallarasan, SDB the Campus Minister. Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, SDB, the Rector and the Secretary, gave the presidential address. In his presidential address, he appreciated the office bearers and motivated the students to look for opportunities. Father said, “to be a leader a title is not necessary”. Rev. Dr. K.A. Maria Arokiaraj, SDB, the Additional Principal, welcomed the gathering. In his welcome speech he felicitated the Chief Guest Mr. A. Christuraj, President, Rotary Club, Yellagiri Hills. A video presentation of the activities of Academic Associations was presented by Ms. S. Savitha, Vice-Principal (Academics). Presentation of the Groups and Movements, Outreach was presented by Rev. Dr. Samson Shanmugam SDB. The Chief Guest Mr. A. Christuraj, President, Rotary Club, Yellagiri Hills addressed the students on how a leader must be. He expressed his thought on how good students got admitted in Sacred Heart College. He also expressed that being a leader is also decided by a place where one is. It was followed by cultural events. The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Mr. G. Jayakumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics.
