The 46th Graduation Day at Sacred Heart College was a momentous occasion, commemorating the academic achievements of the graduates. The event, was held on 5^th August, 2023 at Kamarajar Arangam.  The graduation ceremony commenced at 10.30 a.m., with an impressive academic procession, where the Secretary Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, the Principal, Rev. Dr. Maria Antony Raj, the Deans, Vice-Principals, Heads of various departments and honoured chief guest, Prof. Dr. T. Arumugam, Vice – Chancellor, Thiruvalluvar University, marched in regalia to signify the solemnity and significance of the occasion.

The celebration commenced with the rendition of the Thamilz Thai Vazhthu, reflecting the college's commitment to its rich heritage. The principal, Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antony Raj, delivered a warm welcome address, extending gratitude to all attendees, especially the graduating students and their families. Notable academic achievements and developments of the college were highlighted in the Report presented by father Principal.

The Graduation Day was officially declared open by the Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. T. Arumugam, signalling the beginning of the formal proceedings and celebrations. The Chief Guest, Dr. T. Arumugam, Vice Chancellor, Thiruvalluvar University, delivered an inspiring address, sharing insights and words of wisdom with the graduates. His speech encouraged the students to face challenges with confidence and make a positive impact in their respective fields. He said that, whoever has talent, holds the future. Every aspect of life is technology oriented. He pointed out that, job opportunities are more at the private sector than in the government. While quoting from Thiru Kural, he insisted that only education will stand with them. With education they will achieve success. The future of India depends on strong minds. Sacred Heart college is one of the colleges that prepares students for the future.

The ceremony continued with the presentation of candidates for graduation. The students, received their degrees from the chief guest, marking the culmination of their academic journey. The graduates took a solemn pledge, affirming their commitment to ethical practices, lifelong learning, and contributing responsibly to society. It was followed by the dissolving ceremony; signifying the students' transition from being students to becoming alumni. It represented a farewell to their academic life and the beginning of new chapters in their personal and professional lives.

            The ceremony concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem. The academic procession marked the end of the graduation day, with the faculty, graduates, and guests exiting the venue together, leaving behind cherished memories of the event.
