Primacy of God
Honesty
Respect for all
Being Responsible
Pursuit of Excellence
It flows from the mission statement of the College which says that ‘developing a sense of the Divine presence in nature and in human person’. It is intended that the staff and students learn the value of the sense of the Divine which would help everyone to live in the spiritual consciousness and to realize this through a life of truth, purity and service. Giving primacy to God will lead the human person to see God in all faces, serve all, love all, be kind to all, and be compassionate. Service of man is truly the worship of God. It is the intension of the management to make this core value enter into every home and into the heart of everyone. By placing Primacy of God as a core value of our College, we give importance to prayer before every activity and help the young people to find a spirituality of their own.
Don Bosco’s system of education is to make the young people as honest citizens. Honest citizens are the big reasons behind the development of any nation. Honesty help to build trust, improve relationship, develop societies. That's why honesty is our second core value. We hope to cultivate this value among our staff and students so that they may be true to themselves and appreciate each other for being honest.
Our vision is to make our College the best place to grow up. A place where rights are respected and where all the students can access all the opportunities and support they need. In order to thrive and achieve their full potential, young people need learning environments which are safe, nurturing, respectful and free from fear, abuse and discrimination. Respect for All has a fundamental role to play in ensuring that all of us working with young people fulfill our responsibility to support their health and wellbeing. This can be achieved through embedding positive relationships and behavior approaches to prevent harassment in and across learning communities.
A responsible person is one who can be trusted to act without needing strict supervision, because they are accountable for their own behavior. Being trusted is a good feeling, and young people feel they are capable of doing things on their own without any supervision. This boosts a person’s self-esteem and self-worth. A responsible person tackles the difficult tasks without blaming others for any set-backs or problems. We would like to make our students responsible persons so that they consciously make decisions to improve themselves.
The Pursuit of Excellence will help the young people discover their intrinsic ability to manifest the life they want. The purpose of the Pursuit of Excellence is to prepare the young people to take their next step in life, with excellence. It helps to commit to winning in life. We would like the student community to be surrounded by young people who genuinely want to succeed in life. It will also create a clarity about what they want in life and the tools to achieve it. When they are in pursuit of excellence, they handle changes with less stress and overcome obstacles which come on their way.
