The Department of Extension Education and Services organized a joyous Christmas celebration on 18^th December 2024, with the unveiling of the beautifully crafted Christmas Crib by Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, Rector and Secretary of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, at 4:30 PM. The event marked the beginning of the festive season with a vibrant cultural program. The celebration opened with a soulful prayer song, "Ummai Nesithu Nan Valthida," setting a reverent and joyful atmosphere. It was followed by a heartfelt Bible reading by Ms. Anushiya, a dedicated crèche teacher from Sivarajpettai. The welcome address was delivered by Mr. John Bosco, DDE-GKY staff, who warmly greeted everyone and highlighted the significance of the gathering. The staff members of the Extension Education Service added to the festive spirit with melodious Christmas carols, filling the venue with joy and harmony. The highlight of the celebration was the inspiring Christmas message delivered by Rev. Fr. Praveen Peter, who emphasized the values of love, peace, and giving, which embody the true spirit of Christmas. As a gesture of appreciation and goodwill, Fr. Rector distributed thoughtful gifts to the staff, creating a moment of gratitude. The event concluded on a high note with the lively and heartwarming Chrisma Child exchange of gifts, where participants exchanged tokens of love and joy.
