Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, organized the Bridging Course – June 2025 Inaugural Function on 2nd June 2025 at 08:30 a.m. in Kamarajar Arangam. The event commenced with a melodious prayer song led by Prof. D. Henston & Co from the Department of English (Shift-II), invoking the blessings of the Almighty. The welcome address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Samson Shanmugam SDB, Vice Principal (Admin), Shift-II, who greeted the gathering and emphasized the significance of the bridging course for the new students. This was followed by felicitations from the dignitaries. Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter SDB, Rector and Secretary, offered his words of encouragement and support to the students. Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antony Raj SDB, Principal of SHC, Tirupattur, delivered his felicitations by motivating the students to make use of the bridging course. Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand SDB, Additional Principal, also felicitated the gathering, highlighting the college's commitment to student carrier.

Dr. J. Mary Jenif, Head of the UG Department of English (Shift-II), briefed the students about the Bridging Course Instructions, explaining its objectives and expectations. Following this, Dr. B. Seenivasan, IGNOU Coordinator, enlightened the students about various IGNOU opportunities available to them, encouraging them to pursue value-added and distance learning courses alongside their regular degree. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. S. Savitha, Vice Principal (Academic), Shift-II, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, and students. The event came to an end with the National Anthem, instilling a sense of patriotism among the audience. The program was gracefully coordinated by Dr. M. Sarala Devi, Head, PG & UG Department of Tamil (Shift-II), who served as the Master of Ceremony. The whole Bridging course is coordinated by under the leadership of Rev.Dr.Shanmugam SDB, Vice-Principal(Admin) Shift-II and Department of English.
