Inauguration of the Academic Year 2025–2026 for Shift–II at Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, was held on 16th June 2025 at 1:30 PM in Kamarajar Arangam. The programme commenced with a solemn prayer service led by Rev. Fr. S. Rajendran SDB, Campus Minister, and Mr. Henston, Assistant Professor from the Department of English. The gathering was warmly welcomed by Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, SDB, Rector and Secretary of Sacred Heart College, who also introduced the Salesians. Following this, Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand, SDB, the Additional Principal, introduced the newly appointed staff and office bearers, while also delivering the academic year message. The Principal, Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antony Raj, SDB, gave a comprehensive academic year message focusing on institutional goals and vision.

The event also witnessed the release of college journals and books, presented by Dr. Nahren Manuel M, Dean of Research. The highlight of the day was the Chief Guest Address delivered by Rev. Dr. Don Bosco Lourdusamy, SDB, Provincial of the Chennai Province, who inspired the students and staff with his message. Mr. D. Rajkumar, Dean of Students, and Dr. Mary Jenif, Dean for Women Students, read out the rules and regulations for the academic year, emphasizing discipline and academic integrity. The vote of thanks was proposed by Rev. Dr. Samson Shanmugam, SDB, Vice Principal (Admin), SHC, Shift–II. The programme concluded with the singing of the college anthem, marking a spirited start to the academic year. The event was smoothly compered by Mr. V. Velmurugan from the Department of Tamil and Ms. J. Reni from the Department of Computer Science.
