National Cadet Corps (NCC) of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur and National Service Scheme (NSS) in collaboration with Lions Club of Tirupattur Host had celebrated International Yoga Day 2025 on 21^st June 2025 (Saturday) at 06:30am in Sacred Heart College Ground and Don Bosco Indoor Stadium in a special way in order to create awareness and importance of Yoga.

Miss. S. Geetha, M. Sc Assistant Professor of Yoga and Yoga Trainer, SKY Yoga, Tirupattur and Mrs. G. Jayanthi, M. Sc Yoga, Yoga Trainer, SKY Yoga, Tirupattur had been the Yoga Mistresses performed various Hasanhas.  108 Senior Division (SD) and Senior Wing (SW) NCC Cadets of Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur, 200 NSS Volunteers both boys and girls along with 400 college students both boys and girls have taken part in Yoga Day Programme.

Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter. SDB Rector & Secretary, Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antony Raj. SDB Principal, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, the Indian Institute of Public Administration IIPA (Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Government of India) Tirupattur Local Branch and Rtn. K. M. Subramaniam, Chairman, The Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA), PMJF Lion. Lingannan, President, Lion Club of Tirupattur Host graced the occasion. Around 30 Ex. NCC cadets had participated as Alumni. Dr. A. Xaveir Susai Raj, Secretary, the Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) Tirupattur. Ln. C. R. Christy Anandan DC Member, Lions Club of Tirupattur Host, NSS Programme Officers, the Management Counsel, Vice Principals and Professors from various Departments and Non – Teaching staff members also participated in the event. Refreshments were provided according to the direction given by 12 (TN) NCC, Salem in order to execute this mega event successfully.

Lt. Dr. K. Sivakumar, NCC – Officer, National Cadet Corps (NCC), and Dr. G. Mohan Gandhi, Programme Officer – NSS, Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur along with the other Programme Officers coordinated the event as per the directions given by Regional Joint Director of Collegiate Education, Vellore, The Commanding Officer of 12 (TN) Battalion NCC, Salem and the Principal, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur.
