PG - Inauguration of the Academic Year 2025–2026 for Shift II was held on 2nd July 2025 at 1:25 p.m. in Carreno Hall, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur. The programme commenced with a solemn Prayer Service led by Rev. Fr. Xavier Rajendiran SDB, Campus Minister, and Mr. Henston from the Department of English, invoking God’s blessings on the new academic year. Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand SDB, Additional Principal, welcomed the gathering warmly, introduced the office bearers, and delivered the academic year message with inspiring words.

Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter SDB, Rector and Secretary of the College, then introduced the Salesians and delivered the Chief Guest Message, highlighting the values and traditions of the institution. This was followed by the Academic Year Message by Rev. Dr. D. Maria Antony Raj SDB, the Principal of Sacred Heart College, who encouraged the students to focus on academic excellence. Mr. D. Rajkumar, Dean for Students, read out the rules and regulations to orient the students on college rules, and students responsibilities.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. S. Savitha, Vice Principal (Academics), who expressed her gratitude to the dignitaries, staff, and students for their active participation and support. The programme concluded with the College Anthem, which united everyone in a shared spirit of pride and belonging. The entire event was seamlessly coordinated by Miss R. Himani from Second M.A. English and Mr. V. Praveen Jerome from Second M.Sc. Chemistry, who served as the Masters of Ceremony.
