The Department of Life Education and Don Bosco Social Action and Research Center, Sigaram organized a One Day Awareness Programme on “ Constitutional Value & Social Responsibility” on 17^th july 2025at Carreno Hall & Pope Francis Hall. All the I UG students were the participants. About 1318 students benefited from the program.

During the inaugural session. Rev. Fr. John Christopher (Director of DBSARC) and Mr. Aseervatham (Human Rights Activists) were the resource persons. Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter (Rector & Secretary) inaugurated the programme with a message. He invited the students to get to know more about Constitution & Human Rights and to become more responsible citizens of India. Rev. Dr. Theophil Anand introduced and honored the resource persons. In the sessions the following were discussed: Holistic approach to Constitutional Values, Different forms of Human Rights Violation, the importance and Madness in gender Understanding, Clarity on the political system and the power of voting. Students took a pledge that, “My Vote is Not for Sale”. The proceedings and follow up of RTI were really informative.

On the whole it was a real exposure to the students to understand the Constitutional Value and Social Responsibility as honest citizens. At the end of the program students feedback was received. The organizing committee members namely: Mr. Y. Anand Jeya Prakash, Mr. J. Jitha and Mr. Pratap Pavan Kumar graced the occasion.
