Mr. A. Sebastian, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work (HRM), Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur had successfully completed the EXPLORE: Endless Possibilities – Leadership Development for Mid-Career Roles in Academia program, organized by the Christ University Higher Education Leadership Institute, and supported by the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia. The program was held from 8th to 11th July 2025 at Christ University, Kengeri Campus, Bengaluru. The residential program was meticulously designed to empower mid-career academicians with critical leadership skills. The training was structured around three major themes: Leading Self – This segment helped participants identify their core strengths using the StrengthsFinder 2.0 tool, and understand the importance of psychological safety in leadership. Key sessions were facilitated by Dr. Fr. Jose CC and Mr. Vivek Antonio. Working with Others – Focusing on conflict management, interpersonal understanding, and leadership models for academic excellence, the sessions by Mr. John K John were especially insightful and applicable to institutional settings. Leading Others – The final day emphasized collaborative leadership, effective teamwork, and the evolving role of technology in education. Mr. Sundeep Sadarangani and Dr. Vinay M led highly engaging discussions that sparked reflection on adaptive leadership strategies.
