On 17th July 2025, the PG Department of Computer Science organized an insightful association activity titled “Code to Career: A Glimpse into the IT Landscape”. The session aimed to enlighten students about the evolving opportunities and expectations in the IT sector, helping them bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry demands. The event commenced with a warm welcome address delivered by Mr. K. Dhanush, who greeted the gathering and highlighted the importance of such knowledge-sharing sessions in shaping students' professional journeys. Following this, Dr. A. Mekala, Association President, introduced the resource person, Mr. S. Gokul Raj Rao, Python Developer, V2e Technologies. Chennai emphasizing the speaker’s valuable contributions and experience in the IT field, setting a positive tone for the session.

The resource person provided a comprehensive overview of the current IT trends, skillsets in demand, career paths, and the essential qualities expected from fresh graduates. The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and clarifying their doubts regarding various IT domains like software development, data science, cloud computing, and cyber security.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. T. Joshna, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, and participants for making the event a grand success.
