The PG & Research Department of Commerce (Shift–II) of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, conducted an Invited Talk on the theme “Impact of Artificial Intelligence in Commerce” on 30th July 2025 (Wednesday) at 10:00 AM in Mother Teresa Hall. The event was held under the banner of the Institution’s Innovation Council (Ministry of Education Initiative) as part of the academic enrichment efforts of the department. The resource person, Dr. K. Logesh, Associate Professor & Head, Department of CSE, Kuppam Engineering College, Andhra Pradesh, and an alumnus of Commerce (1992–95) of Sacred Heart College, shared his expert insights on how Artificial Intelligence is revolutionizing the commerce sector. He explained the real-time applications of AI in e-commerce, supply chain, customer service, and decision-making processes, and emphasized the need for students to gain digital competencies. The event was guided and supported by Dr. G. Devi, UG Head and Associate Dean for Women Students, and Ms. G. Priyadharshini, Secretary (UG). The program also witnessed the presence of Dr. A. Sankar, Association President (UG), and Mr. Senthilprabu, Joint Secretary (UG), who contributed to the smooth execution of the event. The event concluded on a high note with enthusiastic participation from students, who were motivated to explore the vast opportunities AI offers in the field of commerce.
