National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit-4, Shift II, of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous) organized a Blood Donation Drive on August 4, 2025. The event, held in association with the Government Community Health Centre, Andiyappanur, took place at 10 AM in the Oasis Hall. Students who were interested in donating blood were requested to register their names, and certificates were awarded to the donors.The blood donation drive begun at 9:30 AM, with  Tamil Thaai Vazhthu and Prayer Song. The welcome address was given by an NSS Student, followed by a presidential address from Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter, SDB, the Rector & Secretary. Felicitation addresses were delivered by Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand, SDB, the Additional Principal, and Rev. Dr. D. Shanmugam, SDB, the Vice Principal (Admin. Shift - II). The chief guest address featured several speakers, including Dr. Soundarya, MBBS and Dr. Sriram. the Medical officer, PHC Andiyappanur. Mrs. C.S. Kalpana, Integrated Counseling and Testing Centre, Andiyappanur gave the vote of thanks. The NSS Programme Officers for the event were Dr. B. Chandrasekar and Prof. V.M. Divya organized whole event of the day.
