Sacred Heart College (Autonomous) in Tirupattur observed Anti-Ragging Day on 18^th August 2025 at 11.15 am and 3.55 pm. During the event, students carried placards and raised awareness about anti-ragging through street plays and folk dances. The UGC has called upon every college to observe Anti-Ragging Week from August 12th to 18th. The college's Secretary, Rev. Fr. Praveen Peter, Principal Dr. Maria Antony Raj, Additional Principal Dr. Theophil Anand, and Vice-Principal Dr. Shanmugam presided over the event and spoke about the importance of anti-ragging. The event was organized by the coordinators of the Alternative Theatre Movement of Shift-2, Dr. Vidhya and Dr. Boominathan. The students from Mattru Nadaga Iyakkam(Alternative Theatre Movement) actively participated in this event and prepared the posters and displayed in the college premises. During the break time MNI students did Flashmob highlighting the consequences of Ragging.
