The Parents Meeting for the Second Year UG Students of Shift–II was successfully organized on 23rd August 2025 at 11.00 a.m. in Kamarajar Arangam, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur. The programme commenced with a Prayer Song presented by Mr. Henston & Co. from the Department of English, setting a spiritual tone for the gathering. This was followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Dr. N. Cholan, Department of Tamil, who warmly welcomed the Rector, Principal, the Additional Principal, Vice-Principals, faculty members, parents, and students.

The Felicitation Address was delivered by Rev. Dr. Praveen Peter SDB, Rector and Secretary of SHC, TPT. In his address, he emphasized the importance of parental involvement in higher education. He appreciated the presence of the parents and encouraged them to collaborate with the faculty in shaping the future of the students. This was followed by Instructions and Interaction by Rev. Dr. Maria Antonyraj, Principal and Rev. Dr. G. Theophil Anand SDB, Additional Principal of SHC, TPT. They elaborated on the college’s expectations from students, the importance of discipline and time management, and the various opportunities available for them on campus. The interaction session provided parents a valuable platform to raise queries and receive clarifications regarding academics, student welfare, and campus facilities.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. A. Chandran, Department of Tamil. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to the management, parents, faculty, and students for their active participation and support in making the meeting a meaningful one. The programme concluded with the singing of the College Anthem. The event was meticulously organized by Dr. Shanmugam. The Master of Ceremony was Dr. K. Anbarasu, Department of Tamil.
