The NSS, AICUF and RRC Units (Shift I), Sacred Heart College jointly organized an invited talk on “The Art of Building a Resilient Mind” on 02th September, 2025 at MT Hall between 2:00 p.m and 4:00 p.m. The event was organized to create suicide awareness among the students. It was also organized to commemorate the World Suicide Prevention Day celebrated on 10th September every year. The resource person of the event was Dr. K. Arockiaraj, Assistant Professor, Center for Positive Youth Development, Department of Social Work, Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur. During the inaugural session the speaker was felicitated with a memento. The speaker in his address elaborated the students on the art of building a resilient mind. He gave productive tips to set goals and suggested creative ideas to succeed in life. He clarified that mind is the center of our body; mental health is the key. It was an interactive session with SWOT analysis and various activities. About 250 student volunteers actively participated in the event. The event was coordinated and graced by the programme officers of NSS, AICUF and RRC Dr. G. Mohan Gandhi, Dr. U. Ramesh, Dr. A. Arokia Napolean Raj, Dr. F. Julian Xercies Rigley, Dr. F. Silviya, Dr. D. Ajay, Mr. V. Madhan Kumar and Dr. A. Mekala respectively.
