The Women Cell of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, Shift I &II, organized Women’s Meet 2025 on 20th September 2025 at Kamarajar Arangam with the theme “Rise, Ignite and Empower – Celebrating the Power of Women.” The programme began at 9:30 a.m. with a soulful Prayer Service by the Choir (Shift-II) which set a serene tone for the event. The Welcome Address was delivered by Ms. Danisa V. S., III B.Sc Mathematics, who warmly greeted the dignitaries, staff, and students. The gathering was then addressed by Dr. A. George Maria Selvam, Vice Principal (Academics, Shift I), who shared words of encouragement highlighting the importance of empowering women and nurturing leadership. The Resource Person, Dr. Swathi Praveen, a Dentist, Mental Health Counsellor, Psychotherapist, and Soft Skill Trainer from Chennai, was introduced by Dr. G. Devi, Head, Department of Commerce (Shift-II). Dr. Swathi’s session was inspiring and insightful, focusing on mental well-being, self-confidence, and the importance of resilience in women’s lives. A vibrant dance performance by the UG girls of Shift I & II added colour and energy to the event, celebrating womanhood through art. Ms. Aswini P. J, II B.AEnglish, proposed the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the programme. The Master of Ceremony was by Ms. Ashvitha J. B., II B.Sc. Biochemistry. The Programme then concluded with the singing of the College Anthem.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the presence of food and game stalls. These stalls attracted a significant crowd, resulting in a thriving buying and selling atmosphere. The hard work put in by the girls in preparing and managing these stalls was evident, and their efforts paid off with the success of these attractions.The event concluded with lively music and dance performances that had everyone on their feet, celebrating the spirit of togetherness and joy.

The Women’s Meet 2025, jointly organized by Shift I and Shift II, was a grand success, leaving the participants motivated and empowered, truly living up to its theme of rising, igniting, and empowering women.
