The Cultural Fest Heart Beat 2025 was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur on 21st November 2025 at Kamarajar Arangam. The programme began with a soulful prayer song by the College Choir, setting a serene tone for the day.
Dr. A. George Maria Selvam, Vice-Principal (Academics), Shift I, formally declared the event open, followed by a warm welcome and honouring of judges by Rev. Fr. S. Henry Daniel Ambrose SDB, Vice-Principal (Administration).
A video presentation introduced the distinguished Chief Guests and Judges, after which Dr. K. Parthibaraja, Head Department of Tamil, gave a brief introduction of the esteemed guest of the day, Ms. Sheela Rajkumar, a renowned South Indian Actress. Drawing from her artistic journey, she emphasized perseverance, authenticity, and self-discipline as essential qualities for success. She encouraged students to embrace challenges with courage, celebrate their talents, and use cultural platforms such as Heart Beat, to develop confidence and leadership. She praised the institution for nurturing holistic growth and urged the youth to remain grounded, value their teachers, and pursue excellence with humility.
The competitions—Group Singing, Mime (Girls), Skit (Boys), and Group Dance (Boys & Girls)—showcased exceptional energy, creativity, and teamwork. Among the departments, Psychology secured First Place, Commerce Second Place, and Microbiology Third Place. Dr. D. Ajay, Assistant Professor, Department of Maathematics, delivered the Vote of Thanks, and the event concluded with the College Anthem, marking the successful completion of a vibrant and memorable cultural celebration.
