The Youth Red Cross (Shift II) of Sacred Heart College (Autonomous), Tirupattur, organized an invited talk on Kindness and Mental Health Wall on 27^th November 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in Mother Teresa Hall.

            The session was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Anandaraj L., President of the Youth Red Cross (Shift II), and Ms. Edithmelody R., Vice President. The invited talk aimed to promote awareness on kindness, emotional well-being and the importance of mental health.

            The invited talk began with a soulful prayer song followed by the welcome address delivered by Mr. Gokul II B.Com. Ms. Edithmelody R., introduced the resource person, Mr. Anand Jeya Prakash Y. who was subsequently honoured by Dr. Anandaraj L.

Mr. Anand Jeya Prakash Y., delivered an insightful and thought-provoking talk. He highlighted the importance of cultivating kindness as a powerful tool to strengthen mental health, improve interpersonal relationships, and build a compassionate environment. He also shed a light on practical ways to manage stress, self-care practice, and the ways to face emotional challenges. The session encouraged students to be open, to be kind, and to maintain emotion balance.

            The Invited talk was concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Praveen, II B.A. Tamil. The talk successfully achieved its objective of promoting awareness on kindness, emotional well-being and the importance the mental health. The entire session was effectively hosted by Ms. Melchisha, II B.A. English.
