The PG and Research Department of Management Studies has organized a one day Industrial visit to Neyveli Lignite Corporation of India Limited (NLCIL) on 22 November 2025. The students visited the following places: Open Cast Mines Afforestation, Nehru Centenary Museum of Earth Science, Existing Power Station of 22 X 210 MW. The Industrial visit to NLCIL – Neyveli Lignite Corporation of India Limited has gained more knowledge and exposure about the Nation’s Biggest Coal Mine and its Operations. The visit also gave us valuable knowledge about the geology of Neyveli and the natural formation of lignite. Overall, the industrial visit highlighted the important role NLC plays in India’s energy sector and gave us practical exposure that will be useful for our studies and future careers.
